Bertinius K. Savre biography, 1960
Autobiography of a Norwegian-American teacher and journalist, who served as administrator and teacher at church-affiliated academies: Clifton College, Texas; Glenwood Academy, Minnesota; and Grand Forks College, North Dakota; and as a teacher at Luther College, Decorah, Iowa. From 1918 until his retirement in the 1950s he was editor and publisher of the Glenwood, Minnesota, "Herald." He was also president and curator of the Pope County, Minnesota, Historical Society. -
Society of Norwegian American Engineers, Inc. papers, 1925-1975
Materials relating to a society founded in New York as the Norwegian Engineers' Society of New York, Inc., which changed its name in 1969. Includes a history published in 1950 and one (edited by Erik J. Friis) in 1975. Membership lists, information about The Order of the Busted Atom, photographs, and correspondence about the 1956 and 1958 issues of its journal, "Norwegian American Technical Journal." Arthur Stavig papers, 1968-1978
A clipping, letter, and a pamphlet, "Trolls, the Whipping Boy of Norwegian Folklore." The latter is a story written by Stavig, of Seattle, whose grandfather came from Norway in 1875. The story is illustrated by Inger Svendsen. -
Gerald H. Thorson papers, 1974-1978
Originals, reprints, and copies of articles and publications by a Professor of English at St. Olaf College, published in various journals, concerning Norwegian-American literature. Subjects are: Norwegian-American Literature, Nora Helmer, Chicago, Peer Stromme, O. E. Rolvaag, Kristofer Janson.

Della Kittleson Dokken Catuna papers, 1887-1989
Research material and working copies for Della Catuna's translation of "Colonel Heg and His Boys" by Waldemar Ager. Her translation of the Ager book was used, together with a translation by Clarence A. Clausen, for "Colonel Heg and His Boys," which NAHA published in 2000. Other family papers are also included.
Includes:- Copy of "The Battle of Stone's River," from the official report by Col. W. P. Carlin in "The War of the Rebellion" (1887, 1977).
- Volume of a copy of Catuna's manuscript "prepared in 1989 from a carbon copy… by Robert Kittelson for interim family use. Various 'additions' and 'corrections' by Robert Kittelson following research and additional information by Aunt Della."

- Correspondence between Catuna and Clarence A Clausen about the translation, editing and publication of Ager's book on the 15th Wisconsin (1977-1986). Also included are personal notes.
- "Life of Dordei, Mrs. Dora Kittleson," the story Catuna's mother. First written in 1929 "as an English assignment," rewritten after her mother's death in 1934 and published in the Blair, Wisconsin, newspaper.

Bergstrom Paper Company records, 1975
General information, reports, and photographs of a paper manufacturing firm which was founded by Dedrick W. Bergstrom, who came at the age of five to Menasha, Wisconsin with his parents from Christiania. He became a blacksmith, and later operated a stove works. In 1904 he purchased the local Winnebago Paper Mills, which is now the Bergstrom Paper Company, a producer of fine printing and writing papers from recycled waste paper. -

Ingri D'Aulaire papers, 1938-1977
Children of the Northlights, the narrative of a twenty-minute film portrait, produced and directed by Jane Morrison, of Ingri and Edgar Parin D'Aulaire, who have written and illustrated more than 35 children's books. Ingri is a native of Norway and Edgar is Swiss-born. Also included are clippings about the couple and their work. -
