Includes: <br /> <ul> <li>Papers of a pastor born Namdalen, immigrated 1860. He worked as a tailor and farmer 1860-70, then as pastor at Coon Prairie (1870-71); Rushford, Minn. (1871-1901); Highland, Minn. (1877-1910). Was president of the Norwegian Augustana Synod(1885-88), editor of "Luthersk Kirketidende" (1873-91) and Børnebudet" (1878-89).</li> <li>Active in the temperance movement, and published many articles in "Reform" and other journals.
