Teslow, A Diary, a translation of the diary of a Norwegian-born merchant and farmer, who came with his wife and family to Winneshiek County, Iowa, in 1862. In 1865 he moved to a farm in Freeborn County, Minnesota, where he lived the rest of his life. The diary begins with reminiscences of his life in Norway, his marriage, and the journey to America, and continues with the record of his experiences in Minnesota.
