Abstract:
Minutes, yearbook, membership lists, and correspondence of a technical society organized in
Chicago in 1922. Similar societies were later organized: the Norwegian Engineering Society of
New York in 1925 (later, Society of Norwegian American Engineers); and the
Norwegian-American Technical Society in 1927. N.B.: The book by Dr. Kenneth Bjork, "Saga in
Steel and Concrete" and the publication files of NAHA give a great deal of information about
these technical societies.
