Det Litterære Samfund, also known as the Norwegian Literary Society of Chicago (DeLiSa), was a cultural and literary organization established by Norwegian Americans in Chicago during the early twentieth century. Created within one of the largest Norwegian-American communities in the United States, the society served as a hub for preserving and promoting Norwegian language, literature, and cultural identity. Its activities included lectures, literary programs, and the publication of Norden, a journal featuring poetry, essays, and creative writing by Norwegian-American authors.

Active primarily from the 1920s through the late twentieth century, DeLiSa provided a gathering place for immigrants and their descendants to engage with their heritage and foster community life in an urban immigrant setting. The organization’s records document its leadership, programs, membership, publications, and its role in sustaining Norwegian-American cultural expression in Chicago.
