Copy of the a family history "The Skavlem and Odegaarden Families" by Halvor Skavlem and related papers. Halvor Skavlem lived in Rock County, Wisconsin. After becoming County Sheriff he lived in Janesville. His many interests included botany, ornithology, archaeology, and local history. He became an authority on Indian lore.
