This afternoon came both Fritjof’s and your letter. Have not heard anything from you all since Monday and began to get carried away. Now I feel a great relief. 

It was a remarkably good letter you wrote; I will answer sometime next week immediately. 

Today when we got up, it was cold, but it has gotten better throughout the day; and now it is wonderful.
