Caption on the back reads: "Mr. and Mrs. Ole Hoimyr, who lived in Bandon Township. She was a sister of Pastor N.P. Xavier, who served Ft. Ridgely and Dale Lutheran Church from 1876 to 1891. Mr. Hoimyr was "klokker" in the church (assistant pastor) and taught Norwegian religious school. The Hoimyr's had one daughter, Palm, wife of George Olson of Franklin." Nils Xavier was a Sámi pastor.
