Peter C. Christianson interview, 1995 September 26
In this series of interviews by Odd Lovoll for his books “The Promise of America: History of the Norwegian-American People” and“The Promise Fulfilled: A Portrait of Norwegian Americans Today,” Lovoll interviews Peter C. Christianson regarding being a Norwegian-American. Christianson was a lobbyist and lawyer in Madison and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was a partner at the law firm Quarles & Brady.

John Ilmari Kolehmainen articles, 1945, 1988
An article entitled, "Finnish Overseas Emigration from Arctic Norway and Russia ("Agricultural History" 19:224-232, Oct. 1945) by a professor of history at Heidelberg College, Tiffin, Ohio. Also, a circular letter from V.K. Nikander, president of Suomi College, Hancock, Michigan, containing plans for the promotion and preservation of Finnish culture.
Also a pamphlet, "The Finns I America and Finland: A Bibliography of the Writings of John I. Kolehmainen, 1936-1987), 23 p., 1988. -
Charles E. Stangeland articles, 1905-1928
Scandinavian and American Culture, originally a lecture given before Det Norske Selskab in Washington, D.C., on January 26, 1910 and later published in "Idun," 1910, Chicago, and 17 clippings (1905-1928). Stangeland was a professor of political economy at the State College in Pullman, Washington, and a professor at the University of Berlin. He was born in Iowa and graduate of Augsburg College.

Luth Jaeger papers, circa 1890
Papers of a Norwegian-born editor and realtor: correspondence, clippings, and a scrapbook dealing with such subjects as the cultural life among Norwegian Americans; Norwegian-American press; Bjornson in America; Scandinavian professorship at the University of Minnesota; Kristofer Janson; Knute Nelson; including a listing of contents of a number of issues of "Budstikken," 11 typescript pages. Jaeger was editor of "Budstikken" (1877-1885) and of "The North" (1889-1894), the first English newspaper for Scandinavian Americans.
Includes:- Correspondence and scrapbook.
- Correspondents include Knud J. Fleischer, Nils P. Haugen, Ole Jorgens, Knud Langeland, Sigvart Sorensen, and Halle Steensland.
- 11 typescript pages listing contents of a number of issues of "Budstikken," transferred from C.G.O. Hansen clipping collection (on back of "Minneapolis Tidende" letterhead).
- Jaeger letters of 1918 to Norwegian Society of Minneapolis resigning from the Society in protest to one of its positions; and to C.G.O.Hansen explaining this action.
