Minutes, reports, correspondence, and clippings of the Norwegian-Danish Press Association of America, organized in 1895. The collection deals with such subjects as immigration, influence of the press on the preservation of the Norwegian heritage and Americanization of immigrants, history of the Association, and its annual meetings. The name of the society was changed to the Norwegian and Danish Press Association in 1938.

Descriptive literature about a "Heritage Project and Nature Center" in a valley north of Coon Valley, Wisconsin, which was set up under to auspices of the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse Foundation. Settlement in the area began in 1850 and was "almost exclusively by Norwegian immigrants."
Includes various pamphlets, brochures, articles and newsletters about and by the Norskedalen "The Norwegian Valley" Nature and Heritage Center.
NORTANA is non-profit organization for researchers and teachers involved in Norwegian language, literature, and area studies, NORTANA promotes the study of Norwegian and Norway at all levels, and works to facilitate cooperation between scholars engaged in these fields. Founded in 1987 as NorTANA (Norwegian Teachers Association of North America), the organization changed its name to NORTANA (Norwegian Researchers and Teachers Association of North America) in 2002. In addition to winning the Akademikapris from Akademika Bokhandel in 1998, NORTANA has also conducted a number of projects to further Norwegian studies in North America. Included in this collection are newsletters, correspondence, and membership information.
