Biography/History:
The society published a journal, "Kvartalskrift" (1905-1922), edited by Waldemar Ager. The society was merged with the Norwegian-American Historical Association in 1976. In 1977 NAHA published "Cultural Pluralism versus Assimilation," edited by Odd S. Lovoll, a volume of essays translated from "Kvartalskrift".Scope and Content:
Correspondence, reports, and records of a Norwegian society organized on January 28, 1903, for the preservation and promotion of Norwegian culture in America.
