- The first article treats Norwegian emigrants from western Norway who settled in Iowa, seven of whom died of leprosy in Winneshiek co., 1863-1877. Ole K. Hill died in Nevada, Iowan, in 1883; he had been county recorder of Story co., 1874-1880. Born 1844 at ølen near Bergen, emigrated 1866
