"As I Remember" (1947) is a biography written and presented by his granddaughter, Edna Hovland Sardeson. Also included is a memorial pamphlet for Leigh Nicea Hovland "born Albert Lea, Minn. Aug. 16, 1890, died Chicago, Ill., Dec. 30, 1903"funeral service held at Bethel Lutheran Church, Jan. 3, 1904" by Carl Edward Tiller; portrait, poem and sermon.
