- Biographical material concerning a Norwegian-born church school teacher at Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Note: see Gjerpen and Valdres congregations (congregations. Wis. Manitowoc. P0537) for chuch school records. Johnsrud and his family emigrated from ostre Slidre in 1864.
Content:Includes letter from the Rev. L.M. Biorn appointing him "kirkesanger." "Stamtavle over Johnsrudslten" and "Skatrud slten I ostre Slidre" by Halvor Johnsrud. Includes brief biography of K.K. Johnsrud. Photograph of Knud and wife.
