- A biography and critique of a second-generation Norwegian-American poet and professor of English at the University of Massachusetts. Langland spent his early life in northeastern Iowa and has written two volumes of poems, "The Green Town" (1956) and "The Wheel of Summer" (1963). "Norwegian Rivers" is a poem written for the sesquicentennial of the Norwegian migration, 1975. The file includes information about Langland.
