- An autobiography of a Norwegian-born (Lindaas, Hordaland) Iowa farmer who was the father of Laurence M. Larson, professor of history at the University of Illinois, the author of "The Log Book of a Young Immigrant," published by NAHA in 1939. Larson emigrated in 1870, settling in Winnebago Co., Iowa.
