"Vossingen som revolusjonerte amerikansk fotball," by Anders Buraa in "Nordmands Forbundet," no. 5, 1982. The article is a distillation of the information in Buraa's book "De Reiste Ut." Rockne was the famous Notre Dame football coach.

"Bevegelsen gjennem livet," a few reminiscences from his childhood by a Norwegian who immigrated to the United States with his parents when he was five years old. Schultz lived in the Chicago area.
"Folldal in America," an article dealing with a settlement called Folldal, 45 miles south of Eau Claire; "The Town that Moved to America," by Stoen, which appeared in Sons of Norway "Viking," March, 1985, is also about emigrants from from Folldal.
An article in the "Chicago Tribune" about contrasts in two suburbs. Williams, a retired vice president of the Wilson Food Corporation, is pictured as typical of the residents of Kenilworth, Chicago's wealthiest suburb. Other photographs show Williams with prominent Norwegians in Chicago. A biographical questionnaire with a photograph and a memorial service program (1992) is included.
Williams was a long-standing member of the NAHA Board of Directors and that organization's promoter and benefactor.
Clippings and biographical notes concerning a Norwegian American who lived at Northwood, North Dakota. In the fall of 1982 the house where he lived and its contents were moved to Vesterheim Norwegian American Museum at Decorah, Iowa.
"Minder fra Havet," a handwritten compilation of stories, the longest of which is titled "Emigranten." A note on the last page states that he is sending these yarns to Skandinaven in the hope that they may be worthy of future publication.
"History of the Clause Hanson Sether Family," telling the story of his father who emigrated from Vardalen, Trondelag, to Goodhue County, Minnesota, in 1868, and later moved to Jackson County, Minnesota.

Jackson was the son of Norwegian immigrant parents who became an influential senator from the state of Washington and was frequently mentioned as a possible presidential candidate.

Lie, an author who lived in Fyresdal, Telemark, became popular among his countrymen in the States for his stories, mainly published as serials in Norwegian-American newspapers. "Poetisk Stræv-Sann Fri diktning," by Olav Solberg, 1983, evaluates Lie's work; "Til Minde um min gjæve ven John Lie, med takk og Kjærleik ifraa K. K. Rudie," a 2-page poetic tribute; clippings and programs related to Lie memorial events in Fyresdal; and a photocopy of his book of poems, "Helsing til Amerika," published in Hillsboro, North Dakota, in 1898 (Banner Publishing Co.).
