Correspondence, minutes, and financial reports of a group composed of several Sons of Norway and Daughters of Norway lodges organized to provide a place for lodge meetings. The Association was dissolved in 1958.
Correspondence and clippings relating to American Syttende Mai festivals, including four pamphlets from Brooklyn, New York (1967-1982). Of interest is the material concerning the Moscow, Iowa county, Wisconsin (May, 1933), festival, which commemorated the 1873 celebration when Ole Bull and Rasmus B. Anderson appeared on the program together with Syver Holland, who sang Heimtraa, a folk ballad.
Since 1969, when the name "Vesterheim" was adopted, an independent corporation which administers the Museum collection and also by terms of an agreement the collection known as the Luther College Collection.
Papers consist of the Sangerfest souvenir programs, other programs, and programs of other singing groups in the Seattle area. Donated in 1969 by the Norwegian Male Chorus of Seattle on its 80th Anniversary.

Papers relating to the history of a township in Southeastern Minnesota. Information about Holden Church, which is in Wanamingo township, can be found in P0537 Congregations, Minnesota, Kenyon. Vang Church in Holden township is listed under Dennison, Minnesota in that collection.
Includes photocopy of a manuscript paper read at the centennial (4 July 1876), and a typescript copy; old map of Holden Township (n.d.); A letter (6 December 1935) from J. Jørgen Thompson to the Reverend S. O. Simundson (Pastor of Dale and Holden Churches, 1928-1941) indicates that Simundson loaned the manuscript so a transcription and copy could be made.
Photocopies of letters written by two immigrant brothers to their family in Vinje, Telemark, Norway, beginning with an account of their 1868 journey from Norway and later recording their experiences as Minnesota farmers. The last letters are from Otter Tail County, Minnesota. A genealogical sketch prepared by a descendant of Anund is included. The letters were turned over to F. A. Fedtvedt, Fergus Falls, Minnesota, July 1970, by Margit Fetvedt, Vinge, Telemark, Norway. Letters were received by NAHA 20 November 1970. Subject to recall by Margit Fetvedt, but not likely that such recall will be made. (From notes left by Beulah Folkedahl.)
