Lars Føre Jacobson (1859-1923) was born in Fayette County, Iowa and married Johanna in 1884. They had 14 children. Later, Lars owned a general store in Madison, Minnesota named L.F. Jacobson & Co.

"Lars and Ingeborg Johnson and Their Descendants" compiled by Jean Nunn, 2012. The Johnsons immigrated to the U.S. in 1852 and later settled in Dakota County, Minnesota, in 1857.

Two volumes of "Selected Writings of Karl Olsen," edited by Stephen Olsen. Karl Olsen, born in Valley City, North Dakota, briefly attended St. Olaf College. Before the age of twenty, he tramped through Japan, Manchuria, Mexico, the Soviet Union, and Europe. Olsen served as an intelligence officer in the Pacific during World War II, and later assigned to one of the first detachments of the U.S. forces to enter Berlin in 1945. After the war he co-founded and served the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).

Lars' second son, David Larsen (Anglicized to Larson, 1821-1906) married Johanna Johnson Hage (1830-1917) in 1858, after the birth of their first child they immigrated to Spring Grove, Minnesota.
