Outlook College papers, 1916-1926
Correspondence, historical sketch, reports, and 8 catalogs (1916-1926) of a Lutheran secondary school founded in 1916 at Outlook, Saskatchewan. In the years 1927-1936 the school was affiliated with the University of Saskatchewan as a junior college. Closed 1936-1939. In 1939 reopened as a bible school only under the name Saskatchewan Lutheran Bible Institute. In 1943 a high school department was added. In 1953 the mane was changed to Lutheran Collegiate Bible Institute. For clipping with photography (1943) see Camrose Lutheran College papers, P479. -
Ova Opager Hultquist papers, 1932-1952

Ove Ling papers, 1863
Copies of three Civil War letters written by a Private in Company I, 12th Wisconsin Infantry, then in Tennessee, to wife and daughter. An explanation by a great-great-grandson, J. E. Storsel, is included as are notes by Rolf Erickson, who uncovered these letters. Lind was slain at Vicksburg, Mississippi, February, 1864. According to Martin Ulvestad, Ove Lind had emigrated from Kristiania, enlisted in Vernon County, Wisconsin.
First letter written in some town in Tennessee and dated May 8, 1863 [perhaps Memphis]; second letter written in some other town in Tennessee (beginning with the letter 'C' [perhaps Colliersville], dated January 31, 1864; and third letter written in some town in Mississippi beginning with the letter 'N' [perhaps Natchez, dated November 10, 1863. -
Ove Rosdail (Danielsen) letters, 1847-1849
Two letters to Rosdail, La Salle County, Illinois. One letter in English from Lars Ellickson, Company G, 1st Regiment, Illinois Infantry, Santa Fe, New Mexico, concerns the death of Rosdail's brother-in-law, Cornelius Cothrien (1814-1847). The other, from Ole Johnson [Eide], Kendall, New York, concerns sale of land. -

Oystein Ore articles, 1839-1956
Manuscript material of "Norwegian Emigrants with University Training 1830-1880" published in "Studies and Records," volume 19, 1956. Also a 12-page typescript commentary on the play "Broder Ebben i fodelandet eller amerikareisen (1839)." A copy of the play is included. Ore, born and educated in Norway, was professor of mathematics at Yale University. -
Øien family correspondence, 1907-1948
A collection of extended family letters written from Chicago, Eau Claire, and Kvalshaug, Norway, by siblings, in-laws, nieces and nephews of Randi Larsdatter Øien Flatreit, the only one of eight children to remain in Norway from the last generation to be raised at the Øyegrinde husmanns place at Nedre Øien. A letter explaining the family relationships is enclosed. -
Øistein Madland biography, 1976
Information about a Norwegian seaman who came to the United States in 1959. The account deals with his experiences in the Norwegian underground and with his service with the British in World War II. -
Østby family history, 1976
"Østby 1778-1974," prepared by O. David Ostby, circa 1976. Family record starting with Lars Davidson Østby, of Kommisrud, Norway, born 1778. Lars' second son, David Larsen (Anglicized to Larson, 1821-1906) married Johanna Johnson Hage (1830-1917) in 1858, after the birth of their first child they immigrated to Spring Grove, Minnesota.
